The Vancouver District Jazz Festival is this Thursday.
Student led sectionals for jazz groups continue before and after school as well as at lunch until the deadline of this Wednesday. Concert band sectional deadline for term 1 was Wednesday last week. (November 10.)
Monday:
Blocks 2-1: End of term playing assessments and theory review.
Lunch - Jazz D rhythm sectional w/ Mr. Taylor
Evening – Symphonic playing tests
Tuesday:
Morning - Jazz A trumpet sectional with Mr. Fleming/ Combo 1 and 2 with Mr. Taylor
Block 1-1 and 1-2: Symphonic and Concert Band testing and theory review.
Lunch - Combo 4 sectional with Mr. Taylor
Wednesday:
Morning - Jazz A Sax sectional with Mr. Fleming/ Symphonic playing tests with Mr. Taylor.

Thursday: Jazz Festival Day
Morning - Jazz B and C rehearsal moved to this morning.
Block 1-1 and 1-2: Symphonic and Concert Band testing and theory review.
After school: Jazz Festival preparations. Festival begins at 6:30.
Jazz C performs at 6:30
Jazz B performs at 6:45
Jazz A performs at 7:45
Friday:
Morning - Combo 3 & 4 moved to this morning.
