Remembrance Day Assemblies are this week and will feature the Symphonic Band and Concert Choir. Dress code for these groups is all black; no jeans or runners.
The PGMSS fundraising letter has been in circulation for a couple of weeks. If you have the ability, we would really appreciate help this year. Please return the envelope to your son or daughter’s music teacher this week.
Student led sectionals continue all week before and after school as well as at lunch. Concert band sectional deadline for term 1 is Wednesday this week. (November 10.) Jazz sectional deadline for term 1 is November 17, which is Wednesday next week.
Monday:
Block 1-1 and 1-2: Symphonic and Concert Band testing
Lunch - Jazz C rhythm sectional w/ Mr. Taylor
Evening – Symphonic rehearsal with Block 1-1 students
Tuesday:
Morning - Jazz B sax sectional with Mr. Fleming/ Combo 1 and 2 with Mr. Taylor
Lunch - Jazz B rhythm sectional with Mr. Taylor
Wednesday:
Morning - Jazz A Trombone sectional with Mr. Fleming
Blocks 1-1: Remembrance Day Assembly with Symphonic Band and Concert Choir. Testing will continue during these blocks after the assembly is over.
Block 1-2: Remembrance Day Assembly #2. Testing continues after the assembly.
Lunch - Jazz A Rhythm sectional with Mr. Taylor
