Hello all,
We are finally getting our feet down and we are underway with planning for the first of the year’s events. The first performance for Symphonic Band and Concert Choir will be at the Remembrance Day assemblies, while the first performances for Jazz A, B and C will be at the District Jazz Festival that we are hosting once again. The students have started organizing the army of volunteers that will ultimately make the festival run.
Monday:
Lunch – Term 1 sectionals begin
– Music Executive meeting re District Jazz Festival
Harrison Music Retreat permission forms will go out in the afternoon
Tuesday:
Morning – Combo rehearsals
Lunch – sectionals continue
Wednesday:
Lunch – Sectionals continue
Thursday:
Morning – Combo rehearsals
Lunch – Sectionals continue
Friday:
District closure day
